Today, the great theater actor, Zhani Zicishti, celebrates his 83rd birthday.

Actor Zhani Petro Ziçishti was born in 1940 in Korça, on May 31. Ziçishti completed his studies at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" high school for actors.

In 1964, he started working as an actor in the theater "A,Z. Cajupi" until 1994, when he emigrated to Greece.

Ziçishti has played over 70 roles on the stage of this theater, many of them leading and important.

Along with his generation, he brought a new way of interpretation, where he revealed the authenticity of acting, naturalness, soft and psychological tones, the accuracy of the character's intentions, against the theatricality and singing of words.
