Thanks to the exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and the Greek and Czech counterparts, 2 Albanian nationals wanted internationally were located in Greece and the Czech Republic, caught and temporarily arrested, with the aim of extradition to Albania.   

- As a result of the exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and the Greek police authorities, the location was located in Kavala, Greece, the capture and provisional arrest of the citizen Pëllumb Braçe, 63 years old, resident of Durrës. 

Ky shtetas ishte shpallur në kërkim ndërkombëtar, pasi Gjykata e Rrethit Gjyqësor Durrës, e ka dënuar me 15 vjet burgim, për kryerjen e veprës penale “Mashtrimi”, me pasoja të rënda. Shtetasi Pëllumb Braçe, u ka marrë me anë të mashtrimit, shumën 72 mijë euro, 2 shtetasve, duke u premtuar shitjen e një dyqani në një pallat të ri, në Durrës.

- Po si rezultat i shkëmbimit të informacionit mes Interpol Tiranës dhe autoriteteve policore çeke, u bë lokalizimi në Çeki, kapja dhe arrestimi provizor i shtetasit Albert Lamaj, 38 vjeç, banues në Ballsh.  

This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Sarandë Judicial District Court sentenced him to 2 years of imprisonment for committing the criminal offense "Deliberate serious injury". Citizen Albert Lamaj, on 03.03.2017, in neighborhood no. 3 Sarandë, after a conflict for weak motives, seriously injured citizen M. Gj with a cutting tool (knife).

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with its Greek and Czech counterparts, is following the procedures for the extradition of these 2 citizens to Albania.
