The Rinas Border Police Services, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, have intensified their work with the aim of conducting in-depth interviews and detailed verification of documents of suspected persons returning to Albania from various EU countries.

As a result of the in-depth interviews and verifications carried out, in cooperation with the DVP Tirana and Elbasan, two citizens declared internationally wanted have been detained and specifically:

- K. Ç. (C)., 33 years old, resident in Tirana, previously convicted in Germany for drug trafficking.

This citizen will be extradited to Italy, as the Court of Pavia, Italy, with the decision dated 24.10.2019, has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Drug trafficking", provided by the Italian Penal Code. The maximum penalty is 20 years in prison.

-Sali Allushi, 59 years old, resident of Elbasan, declared internationally wanted after the Elbasan Judicial District Court, in 2014, sentenced the 59-year-old to 7 years and 5 months of imprisonment for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics". . On 15.10.2011, at the exit of the city of Elbasan, the 59-year-old man was caught selling, in cooperation with 2 other citizens, quantities of heroin.
