Marta Kos congratulates Kurti on his election victory/Call to political parties:

The European Union Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has reacted to the results of the elections in Kosovo on the "X" platform. Kos congratulated Albin Kurti on his victory and for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the process.

Among other things, the commissioner writes that for Kosovo to progress on the path towards the EU, political forces must unite and find compromises to build institutional stability.

"Congratulations to Albin Kurti on winning the elections in Kosovo, and, most importantly, on the peaceful, inclusive and orderly voting process. For Kosovo to progress on its path towards the EU, political forces must now unite and find compromises to build institutional stability."

"I look forward to returning to Kosovo as soon as possible to accelerate the work on Kosovo's integration into the EU and to continue the work on financing the Growth Plan ," Kos's post reads.

Meanwhile, the counting of votes for political entities in Kosovo has not yet been completed. According to the official website of the CEC in Kosovo, there are 11 ballot boxes that have not been counted. So far, 99.56% of the votes have been counted, specifically 2487 ballot boxes out of 2498 in total.

The Vetëvendosje Movement leads the results with 42.92% or 297,669 votes, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo with 21.08% or 146,387 votes. Third is the Democratic League of Kosovo with 17.59% or 122,015 votes.  /CNA
