The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, appeared before supporters in Pristina shortly before midnight, describing the election result as a victory for his party.

He said that this is LVV's fifth victory in the parliamentary elections in seven years, citing victories in 2019, 2021, twice in 2025 and now in 2026.

Kurti stated that this constitutes confirmation of a decade of governance by the Vetevendosje Movement, thanking supporters for their commitment. According to him, the Vetevendosje Movement will continue to lead with "good and democratic" governance.

"We combine the security of the state and borders with the well-being of citizens. There is no difficulty that we have not overcome, because now there is a state for all, and we are all for the state," Kurti said, using the party's slogan.

He said that with LVV, citizens have a guarantee of good governance, while adding that the party is interested in working, unlike the "opposition bloc".

He also said that the 11th legislature should begin as soon as possible and announced meetings and talks with all parties in the coming days. /REL
