Elections in Kosovo/ Here's how much participation there was until 5:00 PM

The Central Election Commission of Kosovo has updated the figures regarding participation in the elections taking place today.

According to the official results of the CEC, voter turnout as of 5:00 p.m. was 28.96%. More specifically, 567,649 people voted.

The turnout is lower compared to the elections of December 28 last year, where 38.63% of voters participated by this time.

2,092,174 citizens are eligible to vote in these elections, while 22,685 new citizens will vote for the first time. The electoral process takes place in 949 polling centers with a total of 2,550 polling stations throughout Kosovo.  /CNA
