In Ulcinj, the two well-known works of the researcher Ismail Doda "Folk Ballads of Albanians in Montenegro", which are considered the most interesting folk creations in Albanian folklore, were inaugurated.

The researcher Agron Xhagolli pointed out the importance of recording ballads among Albanians in Montenegro, which, according to him, represent a study at a general level. "Dr. Doda, as a good connoisseur of the speech of the Albanians living in Montenegro, knew how to carefully and attentively record the folklore subject as a serious collector, respecting the phonetic principle. The values ??of this publication are not only about the quality and values ??of the ballads included. The listed subject is included in two big divisions: legendary ballads and realistic ballads and with many groups within them, said Mr. Xhagolli.

Art analyst and critic Qazim Muja calls these ballads works of art, not only for Albanians in the region, but for all of humanity with a special literary and artistic function, which, as he said, must be preserved and protected in special way.

"Folk poetry, whether epic or lyrical, deserves special attention because of its special character. It is historically more vulnerable to changes and extinctions. In fact, it does not appear always and everywhere, it is not found in all nations, but only in some peoples, as is the case highlighted in the literature of our people, and special socio-historical conditions are required for its preservation and maintenance", said Mr. Muja.

In this context, Mr. Xhagolli pointed out the importance of these works, which will be a documentation aid for Albanian folkloristics.

"The volume of ballads is a documentation aid for Albanian folklore in general. With the publication of this volume, our libraries will be enriched with a valuable value of great interest," said researcher Xhagolli.

The researcher and collector of folklore Ismail Doda remembers the long and painstaking work both in education and in the collection of folklore material (INC)

"I belong to that generation of convicts who did not dare to learn in the Albanian language and when the conditions were ripe I returned to my country like a bee and studying in Pristina", said the author Doada.

Researchers estimate that these publications are unique works that enter the special folklore fund of the Albanian people, expressed in the speech of the Greek language, and as such gain eternity in Albanian cultural anthropology./ Voa
