Russia said on May 25 that its army has taken control of another village in eastern Ukraine. This is the last territorial gain by Moscow during its occupation of Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that troops "have taken control of the village of Arhengelske" in the Donetsk region.

This small village on the front line is located near the town of Ochertejne, which Russia claimed earlier this month to have taken control of.

Ukrainian police, meanwhile, said three people were killed and two others wounded during Russian attacks in Donetsk, where more than 1,800 attacks have been recorded in the past day.
