The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitostakis, has spoken about the tense relations with North Macedonia.

 "When someone pulls the rope, they must be ready and break", declared the Greek Prime Minister. "And if he deviates from the agreed course, let him know that he will find the road to Europe closed, a road that passes through Greece and respect for international law," the Greek Prime Minister said. 

Regarding relations with Turkey, Mitsotakis also made it clear that "there is no discussion about a package solution".

He emphasized that Greece does not forget its disputes with Turkey, adding that, however, "this does not mean that we should live with our finger on the trigger all the time".

"And because some people in Greece and Turkey feed on the Greco-Turkish crisis, ask our critics about the results of our policy, who see reduced immigration flows. Or our islanders who have seen local economies boosted by Turkish visitors. See also Greece's position in the international context.
