US says it has hit more than 12,300 Iranian targets

US Central Command (Centcom) has issued a new update on military operations, revealing high numbers of attacks on Iranian targets since the start of the conflict.

According to the official announcement, US forces have struck over 12,300 Iranian targets, including command and control centers, ballistic missile sites, and weapons storage bunkers. These operations are aimed at weakening Iran's military and logistical capabilities.

In the same update, Centcom announced that more than 155 Iranian ships were damaged or destroyed during the interventions, significantly hitting Tehran's naval presence.

Meanwhile, the report also includes the air activity of US forces, noting that over 13,000 combat flights have been carried out.

Some of the US military's most advanced aircraft have been deployed in these missions, including F-22 and F-35 fighter jets, as well as B-1, B-2 and B-52 strategic bombers./CNA, translated by BBC
