Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says Iran has the will to end the war with the US and Israel, as long as certain demands are met.
The comments came in a phone call between Pezeshkian and European Council President Antonio Costa, details of which were reported by Iran's state news agency IRNA.
These demands, says Pezeshkian, include mandatory guarantees to prevent the recurrence of any aggression in the future.
"At no point have we sought tension or war," he says, adding that the solution to normalizing the situation is to stop their aggressive attacks. /CNA, translated by BBC
