Power problems/flights canceled at Manchester airport

Hundreds of flights have been delayed or canceled at Manchester Airport, the UK's third largest, due to power problems, the airport operator said.

According to the responsible authorities, the airport was affected by the power outage in the entire area, in the morning hours.

Although power was later restored, passengers in Terminals 1 and 2 were told not to go to the airport as all flights were canceled until further notice.

Terminal 3 passengers have been told to proceed to the airport as usual, but have been warned that there may be delays.

They have also been informed that they may have problems securing their luggage.
