The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti in the premises of the "Open Balcony of the Government" has welcomed the emigrants in a meeting on the occasion of Diaspora Day.

During his speech at the meeting, Kurti stung the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Ramë.

Kurti said that they are marking the anniversary of the "Open Balcony".

"Coincidentally, or maybe not, tomorrow marks one year since we inaugurated the "Open Balcony" here at the Prime Minister. However, we are marking the anniversary tonight because we were right here together, one year ago, since when this space of the government building, which was once unused, has become such a pleasant place for receptions and meetings. And even a year later, our balcony continues to be open, tonight, for our dear expatriate, for you compatriots. We announced it together. We are celebrating the first anniversary together. We will meet together for many times. Welcome and happy!", said Kurti to the expatriates.

Kurti spoke to the emigrants present about the obvious democratic and economic progress of Kosovo evidenced by all international reports, "thus mentioning the average economic growth, the increase in tax revenues, exports and foreign direct investments".

Kurti highlighted that emigration has also evolved significantly year after year, expanding our national representation./CNA.al
