Chernihiv rocket attack, 7 dead and 90 injured

Seven people were killed in a Russian missile attack on the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv on Saturday, Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said.

"The body of another victim was discovered in Chernihiv. An unidentified woman. The number of dead has increased to 7," he said on Telegram.

"90 injured people have applied for medical assistance. Among them are 10 police officers and 12 children. 25 people were hospitalized.

"A 12-year-old girl was urgently transferred by ambulance to the city of Kiev. The child is in serious condition," he added.
