Therefore, he always remained among the most beloved and honored professors for the students of the Faculty of Philology.

His most prominent contribution is related to the review and deepening of the historiography of Albanian literature, which he treated as a complex cultural and aesthetic process, placing it in a broader interpretative and comparative perspective.

Calm in reasoning, steadfast in conviction, and dedicated to culture and education, he left behind a rare model of scholar and educator.

The passing of Professor Ali Xhiku constitutes a great loss for his family, friends, colleagues, the academic world and literary studies, while his work and legacy will remain a precious part of the national cultural memory, because it is the work of a scholar who dedicated his life to Albanian culture and knowledge.
