The political leader of the PD for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has denounced another affair that connects Veliaj, its directors with Klodian Zoto's company.

Kelliçi explained in the statement to the media that according to the documents submitted by the opposition and SPAK's investigations, it turns out that Zoto's company has disappeared 12 million euros from the accounts of the Tirana incinerator and transferred them to offshore accounts.

"It would come as no surprise to many of you that this was just another theft from our taxes. But the selection of this company has a much stronger reason and motive. According to the documents submitted by us and SPAK's investigations so far, it is found that:

The company ITS sh.pk has disappeared from the accounts of the incinerator of Tirana the amount of 12 million euros without any invoice and service performed.

Simply put, ITS sh.pk is the suitcase with which the actual owner of the Tirana Incinerator stole and transferred at least 12 million euros to an OFFSHORE account.

All this would not have happened, if Erion Veliaj had not blocked the work of the Project Implementation Unit, which had a single task, to monitor the movement of money and the investment in the Sharra landfill.

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku wrote in black and white, in July 2023, directly to Erion Veliaj, that he and only he is the cause of the blocking of the JPZP and that he would bear responsibility for any damage that was caused to the state party .

The criminal organization 5D, sheltered in the Municipality of Tirana, acted with the full knowledge of its leader Erion Veliaj and practically like any well-organized criminal structure, they obeyed the leader's orders, providing him with votes and substantial financial benefits. , said Kelliçi.

Kelliçi has called on SPAK to expand the investigations to include this tender as well.

Every tender signed by Erion Veliaj and his criminal structure in the municipality is simply a corrupt bargain, where the profit of this criminal organization goes up to 100%.

I thank those honest employees of the Municipality of Tirana, who have joined us in clarifying the truth and denouncing the corrupt affairs of Erion Veliajt, and I find the opportunity to invite the citizens and residents of Tirana again, to protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana, on Thursday, on April 11, at 11:00, to request the immediate removal from the office of Erion Veliaj and his surrender before justice.
