On Thursday, the Special Court at the request of the SPAK issued 7 security measures, 3 "prison arrests", 2 "house arrests" and 2 for house or facility inspections, following investigations into the abuse of EU funds.

Alfred Nikolla is one of the persons arrested today by order of the SPAK, after investigations into the abuse of EU funds. Together with him, the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj and Ermal Kurtulaj have fallen into the hands of the police. (read here)

Gazmend Haxhia and Elton Marini were placed under house arrest , while the apartments of two other people, Bledar Leka and Bjona Zijaj, were searched.

The arrest warrants were signed by the prosecutor Elida Kaçkini, while the decision on their execution was taken by the judge, Rudina Palloi.

This center was first opened in Gjakova in 2014 by the "I LOVE KOSOVO" Foundation, which is run by Nita Xhiha and Vllaznim Xhiha, as a non-governmental organization. In 2017, the second center was founded, "BONEVET Prishtina", which has adapted the same concept of work and educational programs. In 2019, "BONEVET Kaçanik" was established, in 2021 "BONEVET Kamenica" and in 2022 "BONEVET Mitrovica".
