AMP releases details/ Who are the officials and police officers suspended in

19 employees of the Korça Police Directorate and the Migration Border Directorate have been suspended from duty this Friday, following an investigation by the Korça Prosecutor's Office.

The Police Supervision Agency has executed a total of 21 security measures, while revealing the identities of the operatives.

AMP has been investigating for a year and with special methods has managed to document the abuse that 19 police officers, among them senior leaders in blue uniforms as well as two citizens, have managed to steal funds from FRONTEX.

For a long time, this group has been falsifying diets, benefiting from amounts in euros. A daily allowance of FRONTEX is 50 euros, while fictitious services with falsified documents have been issued for an officer or leader for 20 consecutive days or even more.

In this way, the operatives receive sums from 1,000 to 2,000 euros per month through theft when they claimed to be of service to FRONTEX.

Specifically, the following were suspended from office:

1. BT Manager, 45 years old, with the duties of Assistant to the Director of the Border and Migration Department and local Coordinator of the joint operation with the FRONTEX mission, suspected of "Theft by abuse of duty" and "Forgery of documents";

2. Director AJ, 63 years old, former Director of DVKM Korçë, currently on duty as Assistant Director of the Criminal Police Department, suspected of "Abuse of duty";

3. Chief Commissioner AM, 57 years old, former Director of DVKM Korçë, currently working as Assistant Director at DVP Elbasan, suspected of "Abuse of duty";

4. Chief Commissioner S.A., 63 years old, with the position of Head of the Finance and Support Services Sector, in the Border and Migration Department, suspected of "Abuse of duty";

5. EM, 54 years old, with specialist duties in the Finance and Support Services Sector, in the Border and Migration Department, suspected of "Misuse of duty";

6. DA Sub-commissioner, 35 years old, with the duty of Shift Manager at the Qafë Thane Border Police Station, in DVKM Korçë, suspected of "Forgery of documents" and "Theft by abuse of duty";

18. Inspector FM, 40 years old, with the duty of Service Corps at the Qafë Thane Border Police Station, in DVKM Korçë, suspected of "Forgery of documents" and "Theft while abusing duty";

19. Inspector AI (D.), 32 years old, with the duty of Service Corps at the Durrës Border Police Station, Durrës DVKM, suspected of "Forgery of documents" and "Theft while abusing duty".

In addition, the citizens: A.TH., 41 years old and G.Ç., 47 years old, representatives of two commercial entities in the hotel industry, suspected of "Forgery of documents" have been forced to appear.

The Court's decision came within the framework of the criminal proceedings referred by the Police Supervision Agency, where from several months of investigations carried out by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of General Jurisdiction Korça, it was found that these police officers, from the top management levels and up at the enforcement level, with illegal actions, through fictitious and falsified invoices, presented at different times during the exercise of their duties in the FRONTEX mission, they have benefited from illegal sums in euros.

From the investigations, it has been proven that a significant number of fictitious transfer orders were issued by the police officers at the management level, in abuse of duty, to various Border Police Stations, in the jurisdiction of DVKM Korçë, with the aim of favoring the Police officers. in illegal benefits, while from the Finance Sector in the Border and Migration Department, in excess of legal powers and abuse of duty, based on the fictitious documentation presented by the police officers, sums in euros were paid, which included accommodation expenses , sleep, or different diets.
