Unification of detention issues/ Lala: Supreme Court in contradiction, Rama

Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed", spoke about Sokol Sadushi's decision to unify detention issues.

Lala said that within the Supreme Court there are contradictions about how cases are being handled.

Focusing on Rama, Lala said that Rama has only raised the issue of detention when SP exponents were affected.

Lala said that no one was bothered by politics before, when there were ordinary people in detention who even lost their lives, or when this issue was raised by journalists and lawyers.

 

"The Supreme Court and its president, Sokol Sadushi, are putting the united panels in motion to unify pre-trial detention issues, while the same court is leaving the measure of arrest and imprisonment in force. So it seems that within the Supreme Court there is a contradiction in the way it is behaving and then, and most terrifyingly, Mr. Rama has raised the problem of pre-trial detention, precisely at the moment when his antechamber has been affected, that is, when senior exponents of the Socialist Party have been affected, because in 14 years of governance, no one from politics has even bothered to worry about ordinary people who have died in pre-trial detention, who have also killed themselves and are growing up orphans.

"No one was concerned about the detention when lawyers or journalists raised this issue with great concern, Mr. Rama remembered the moment when very important people of the SP were endangered and his mask fell off. It's like that expression that when water comes to my door, I will take legal measures," Lala said./CNA
