The Directorate of Prisons has suspended the director of Rrogozhina prison, Bilal Hasa, from duty.

In a statement distributed to the media, the Prisons Directorate announced that it was made aware of the case through media reports and immediately took administrative measures against Hasa until the incident was resolved.

Bilal Hasa was declared wanted after a straw house was discovered in his apartment in a village in Peqin.

Following the information received, the General Directorate has taken immediate administrative measures to suspend him from duty, until the incident is fully clarified by the competent authorities.
