Fatbardh Lici's murder/ GJKKO brings Safet Bajri, Behar Bajri, Astmer

The Special Court has decided today to pass the case file against Safet Bajri, Behar Bajri, Astmer Bilali and Eria Ago for the murder of Fatbardh Lici. The defendants' defense lawyers had requested a dismissal of the case or the return of the documents for further investigation.

Safet Bajri was arrested on February 21, 2025 for "Premeditated Murder", "Structured Criminal Group" and "Committing Criminal Offenses by a Criminal Organization and a Structured Criminal Group". Bajrat and Bilali, in collaboration with each other, are accused of organizing and carrying out the murder of Fatbardh Lici. 

The motive for his murder is suspected to be related to the fact that Behar Bajri blamed Ibrahim Lici for the murder of former State Police officer Boran Bërçana. Thus, in order to take revenge, Bajraj and Bilali killed Fatbardh Lici on August 8, 2018.

It is suspected that after the murder of Fatbardh Lici, Safet Bajri's girlfriend, Eria Ago, took Astmer Bilali by car and brought him to Tirana, while Safet Bajri stayed in Shkodra. Safet and Behar Bajri and Astmer Bilali, accompanied by Eria Ago, traveled by car in the early hours of the morning of August 2018 from Tirana to Shkodra to carry out the murder of Fatbardh Lici. /CNA
