Malltezi and Kalaja at the Criminal Court: We will prove Carlo Bollino's

Jamarbër Malltezi spoke to the media today after the end of the court session at the Court of Appeal where he faced publisher Carlo Bollino.

Malltezi states that there is no insult or defamation in the fact that, according to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama has issued four VKMs for Bollino.

According to him, Bollino has benefited from land that was taken from several unrelated private families. Among other things, he added that a high school was planned to be built on the site where he set up his media outlet.

"As you are aware, I wanted to ask you as journalists, where is the insult or slander in the fact that Edi Rama within nine months has issued four nominative VKM for citizen Carlo Bolino? Where is the insult? Is it true or false? Four nominative VKM. Three years ago, SPAK, in total submission to Edi Rama's orders, said, I am prosecuting Sali Berisha for issuing nominative VKM. And it never took him to the Constitutional Court, because there was none. Here we have Edi Rama, four nominative VKM for Carlo Bolino. Where is SPAK? He has hidden, he has fled in an unknown direction, as soon as Edi Rama's name comes up. So this first one regarding whether we have insult or slander or do we have the truth. Order where you are, you have them with numbers. Is it an insult or slander that that land has never belonged to Carlo Bolino? It belonged to private families, Begeja, Llagami, Ramazan Deliu, the predecessor of the Llagami and so on. It was never owned by Kristaq Rama or Carlo Bolino. Consequently, how did Carlo Bolino become the owner? He stole from the owners through the VKMs that he gave them with Edi Rama.

Four nominative VKMs have taken a property for which it has not been returned to the legal owner. One of these legal owners, the Llagami family, was paid 3 million euros by Edi Rama. Completely legal, he deserves it. But what about the Begeja family? Or does he have a bad biography? And in addition to having the property stolen, he must also face trials, he must also face the ordinary slanderer, Carlo Bolino, the robber of public and private property together. We will face this. Carlo Bolino really hoped that the documents had disappeared from the Municipality of Tirana. Having his friend Erion Veliaj, they did not give documents. Order where we have them. Regarding the hearing where MP Belind Këlliçi is also a party, his legal representative, Adriana Kalaja, also spoke. She said that in this criminal trial it will not only be proven that Malltezi and Këlliçi have not committed a criminal offense, but also that Bollino has abused public property and money. She said that the next hearing is scheduled for April 14 at 1:00 PM.

"I would like to emphasize two important elements. So, MP Belind Këlliçi and Professor Jamarbër Malltezi have been sent to the Criminal Court on charges of insult and defamation. The court, at our request, has requested two files located in SPAK, of criminal reports that correspond to the Italian citizen or Leçian as it is known in Albanian, regarding the robbery he committed of public property, but also regarding the incinerator affair.

Files that were administered in the trial that we just came out of and at this moment, we appreciate as a very important element to see that not only is there no element of consumption of criminal offenses of insult or defamation, because I don't know how someone who is a thief and you call him a thief could be called insult. So, with the evidence that SPAK has, the VKMs signed the same as the incinerator to transfer this property in the name of the owner of Report TV, and above all we are witnesses of how much money he has illegally benefited not only from the incinerators.

So, for us, all the formal conditions regarding this criminal request have been eased, because not only does the criminal offense committed by the two defendants, Jamarbër Malltezi and Belind Këlliçi, not only for insult or defamation, but on the other hand, we will also prove in this criminal trial with the evidence that Mr. Malltezi has brought today, we will prove that not only did we not slander, but the abuses of public property and money by a thief called Carlo Bollino are so extreme, that in fact even SPAK will go to the end, because we will not allow the abuse of public property and money to continue, as it is, and on the other hand, that this issue can be supposedly forgotten.
