Erion Veliaj's friend, Evi Kokalari, has said in a post on social media that she is not a member of the Democratic Party. While a few days ago she stated that she had requested to be registered as a candidate for president of the Democratic Party in the May 23 elections.

The problem is that to run for president of the DP, you have to be a member of that party. Evi Kokalari says that she is not a party member and she says she will run for president of the DP, and she even says that she has made another move.

" Evi Kokalari has never opened another party and the only reason why I did not join the DP, and Berisha knows this well, because we discussed it at length and I consulted with lawyers in the US, was because I did not want problems with the DOJ and FARA, which could consider my participation in the DP as lobbying ," writes Kokalari.

Perhaps, Evi Kokalari should find a party to run for or a rival. For example, it would be good for Kokalari to run with Pëllumb Pilinçi, although he can't even beat the professor in this race.

Meanwhile, Ms. Angelakis cannot run for the Democratic Party, because she is not a member, as she herself says. The DP statute is clear, you must be a member of the Democratic Party to run for president.

So it would be good if Ms. Angelakis would consider our proposal, to run against Professor Pilinci, since they are both American-Democratic types, with strong connections to the State Department, to Congressmen, Senators. Let them both lobby together with the strong connections they have in America and make a powerful party.
