Spiropali accuses Berisha and Meta of Beler: Gozhdë Nastradini deliberately

The Minister for Relations with the Parliament Elisa Spiropali has spoken about the issue of the candidate who won the elections in Himarë Municipality, Fredi Beleri.

She blamed Berisha and Meta who gave Beler the opportunity to run for the opposition coalition.

Spiropali said that we should definitely pull out this nail as it is a nail deliberately driven in to cause damage

"It is an issue that has its origins in the decision of Berisha and Meta to run for a man regardless of his past and attitudes. It is a Nastradini nail that requires a lot of concentration and patience. It is not a political issue between Greece and Albania either, it is not an issue of the Greek minority. We also have the respect of minorities in the legislation. The issue of Himara is a matter of justice and the relations between Greece and Albania cannot be harmed by nationalism. We must pull out this nail as it is a nail that was deliberately driven in to cause damage," Spiropali said.

The candidate who won the elections in the municipality of Himare, Fredi Beleri, is in prison under the charge of electoral crimes./ CNA
