The candidate in the local elections for mayor in Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, reacted after the news made public in the foreign media regarding a project that will start its implementation this Sunday in New York.

Starting tomorrow, Sunday, September 24, the City of New York is launching a pilot program, where it will offer free bus transportation on the city's 5 main lines, for a period of 12 months, where a family of 4 is expected to save an average of $6,000 per year.

The pilot program will serve approximately 43,900 public transit users in New York. The extension of this pilot project will be for a period of six to 12 months, according to Governor Kathy Hochul./ CNA
