Through denunciations and investigations, CNA has uncovered the successive scandals of Mayor Erion Veliaj, his conduct from Durrës prison, attacks on justice, sponsorships of foreign media to write articles against justice and his detention in prison.

CNA has reported by name his collaborators, media people, public figures, who have been put in service as soldiers or accomplices to the mayor arrested on 13 serious charges.

CNA has been publishing these reports for days with facts and documents. Only recently did CNA once again expose Erion Veliaj, his brother, Arbër Veliaj, as well as his family's journalist, Mero Bazen, or other characters who share a common bond with Veliaj, such as Ylli Manjani, Anri Bala, and Halit Valteri.

We published documents and facts about how Mayor Erion Veliaj and his brother Arbër Veliaj paid $220,000 against prosecutors, judges, and SPAK.

The declarations of the lobbying company "Kasowitz LLP", submitted to FARA, to the US Department of Justice, were published, which also showed the amount paid by Erion and Arbër Veliaj for lobbying in the US, which amounts to 219,945 euros, paid in installments.

In this report, the frauds alleged by Veliaj were in series, starting with "Prosecutor Ols Dado active member of the authoritarian opposition party", "Prosecutor Ols Dado property developer", "Erion is appointed a judge with strong ties to the DP", all these frauds refuted with facts by CNA, which you can read in this WRITING .

The report actually showed other details, which we have actually reported before, that are the writings of Mero Baze, Ylli Manjani, Halit Valteri that are being presented as reports in the American media about Erion Veliaj's freedom.

CNA published them with names and documents one by one, starting with the Veliaj family journalist, Mero Baze.

Mero Base

In the report, on page 11, the article "Veliaj's ethical standards towards the prosecutor and the prosecutor's legal standards towards Veliaj" dated February 28, 2025 by Mero Baze published on the Veliaj family website is placed.

The journalist of the Veliaj family, Mero Baze, says that a standard of persecution is being used against Veliaj and he is being kept isolated with other standards from the other defendants with the same security measures as him.

But let us remember here that from the wiretaps published by CNA, it has clearly emerged that Mero Baze is a soldier directed by Veliaj, who through his brother fills his pockets, that from the official invoices of Erion Veliaj's brother alone, Mero Baze was paid 300 thousand dollars, more than lobbying in the US, without going into the employment of Mero Baze's children and family members in the Municipality of Tirana.

Star Manjani

Another name that appears in the report sent to the Department of Justice is Ylli Manjani, who used the studio of Erla Mëhilli's "Noë" show on "Euronews" to use theses in the interest of Erion Veliaj. Manjani, in a live broadcast, stated that Erion Veliaj was arrested without evidence and there are no official charges against him. In fact, there are 60 thousand pages of evidence and documents, as well as a case brought to trial where Erion Veliaj evades.

Manjan's statement was then published by "Tema" by Mero Baze, a journalist for the Veliaj family, and then became part of the lobbying report, published yesterday by CNA.

On page 3 of the report, the article "'Veliaj was arrested without evidence' - Ylli Manjani: This is unacceptable for every citizen" is placed, a statement by Manjani published on February 10, 2025 by Mero Baze's "Tema".

Ylli Manjani is a person in conflict with SPAK, he is the lawyer of several arrested people who are being tried as murderers in collaboration and a structured criminal group.

Henry Bala

Another name that has been used for Veliaj's interests is journalist Anri Bala, who came out of the "manger" of Rilindja. In an article published on the Veliaj family's journalist portal, journalist Bala wrote that the media was intimidating judge Engert Pëllumbi, in order to rule against the mayor who was arrested on February 10.

Journalist Bala's article titled "SPAK Special Journalists and Media Intimidation" published on March 12, 2025 on the "Tema" portal and the "Dita" newspaper is placed on page 5 of the lobbying report of around 220 thousand euros paid by Erion Veliaj and his brother Arbër Veliaj.

Halit Walter

Another case is the socialist councilor of the Municipality of Tirana, Halit Valteri, one of the people who worked with Veliaj. Once a guard of Lulzim Basha, he became less a servant of Taulant Balla, and ended up collaborating with Zdromsi. In an article by Valteri in the newspaper "Dita", the media in service to the point of disgust towards Veliaj, it is said that Erion is a hostage of a judicial system with strong political interests.

We remind you that in addition to being part of several parties, Valteri is also a person with a precedent, summoned by SPAK. Also, this article by Halit Valteri has become part of the lobbying report of 220 thousand dollars. BUT WHAT HAPPENS?

After releasing the facts and documents of the report sent by the lobbying company FARA to the US Department of Justice, Veliaj's media and his co-conspirators have cowered like ostriches.

The silence has plagued them. Not a word about the lobbying company's statements, not a word about the $220,000 lobbying of Erion and Arbër Veliaj. Two reports one after the other, one with 21 pages and the other with 42 pages, showing Veliaj's fraud and lobbying with e-mails sent to congressmen, with sponsored articles for the release of the mayor arrested on 13 charges for 5 serious offenses and SILENCE!

Veliaj's scoundrels, who through directed writings and sponsorships smear prosecutors, judges and SPAK, seem to have lost their tongues, faced with facts that are written in black and white./ CNA
