The hearing for the "Golden Bullet" case has been postponed to January 20. The reason for the postponement was the escape of Altin Ndoc, who is a defendant in this case. Only Ndoc's lawyer was present at today's trial.
It is reported that the Prisons Directorate has officially notified the Special Court regarding the escape, and the notification was read during the session.
"Altin Ndoc cannot be escorted, as he is not in the Durrës Penitentiary Institution premises, as a result of his escape from the Durrës Regional Hospital. He has been declared wanted by the police ," the announcement said. Meanwhile, SPAK prosecutors have requested that the trial continue, arguing that there is no change for the rest of the accused.
In the "Golden Bullet" case, Altin Ndoci is accused of serious crimes, including murder, drug trafficking and other criminal acts. / CNA
