The decisive session for the mandate of the "Albania Becomes Initiative" coalition will take place tomorrow.
The Electoral College session is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
The co-leader of the Initiative, Adriatik Lapaj, filed an appeal with the Tirana Administrative Court of Appeal on August 4, contesting the decisions of the CEC and KAS that prevented him from entering the Assembly and seeking to be recognized as the winner of the open list with preferential votes for the Tirana district.
Lapaj also requests that the resignations of July 15 and 17 by two of Nisma's candidates, Zeqir Kordhoni and Kleana Xhuveli, not be recognized as valid.
Tomorrow's session is crucial, as it determines the fate of the mandate and the interpretation of the rules for open and closed lists for candidates, one of which is Adriatik Lapaj. /CNA
