Salary increase for judges of the Constitutional Court/Salaries, up to 7.6

A few days ago, the Government sent to the Parliament a draft for increasing the salaries of the members of the Constitutional Court.

The draft foresees that the salary of a member of the Constitutional Court will be 0.96% of the President's salary (408,000 ALL), plus an additional 236,640 ALL "due to the special nature of the work".

The President of the Constitutional Court "for the leadership position receives an additional 20% salary over the monthly salary of the judge of the Constitutional Court and the additional due to the special nature of the work" reaching the figure of 7.6 million ALL.

Likewise, the members of the Special Appeal Board are also affected by this draft.

"Additional monthly payment due to hardship, according to point 4, article 29, of law no. 84/2016, 'On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania', in the amount of 43% above the monthly salary; b) seniority allowance according to letter 'c', point 5, article 12, of law no. 96/2016, 'On the status of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania', as amended", says the draft./ CNA .co.uk
