"Clash" in the Council of Mandates/ The meeting is temporarily

At the meeting of the Council of Mandates for former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, there was a "clash".

Opposition MPs Gazment Bardhi and Ervin Salianji have requested that the meeting take place with open doors.

On the other hand, SPAK has requested to be kept behind closed doors due to investigative secrecy.

Even the socialist deputy, Ermonela Felaj, has supported SPAK, sticking to the idea of ??a meeting with closed doors.

This brought strong reactions between the parties and the meeting was interrupted for 5 minutes.

We remind you that Ahmetaj's lawyers, Henrik Ligori and Ardian Visha, are present at the meeting. As for the former deputy prime minister, CAN had warned earlier that he would not participate, as it turns out that he is outside the territory of Albania.

Henrik Ligori and Ardian Visha have requested that the meeting be postponed to tomorrow due to the voluminous file.

The Council of Mandates will decide whether to remove the immunity of deputy Arben Ahmetaj, which would pave the way for the arrest of the latter by SPAK./  CNA.al
