The quarry in Borizana

The quarry in Borizana was the "bone of contention" for the brutal violence that members of the Rraja tribe inflicted on two cousins ??from the Maya tribe.

The State Police and the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana came out today with official reactions to clarify the issue, but the two institutions have contradicted each other.

The police announced that they have referred 3 documents to the Prosecutor, one on May 5, one on May 10 and another on May 30 of this year.

But the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana claims something else. In the announcement of the latter, it is said that the police referred two materials, one on May 18 and another on June 19 of this year.

As a result, the Prosecutor's Office announces that it has started two proceedings on the issue of the quarry in Borizana, the activity of which the two Maja cousins ??claim is damaging the houses.

So, the two institutions have come up with two different versions, thus throwing the "ball" to each other.

Below, we are listing the official reactions of the State Police and the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana.

Notification of the State Police:

Following the information given about the conflict that happened in Borizana, on 07.06.2023, we inform you that:

1. The Kruja Police, in full fulfillment of their functional duties, after the denunciation made by the citizen BM, for the destruction of property, carried out all the necessary police actions, and on 05.05.2023 referred to the Prosecutor's Office, with letter no. . 1408, procedural materials of 20 pages, on this report. The referred procedural materials included the reference information of the criminal offense, the reporting record, the site inspection record, the statement record and the material evidence inspection record.

2.Në vijim, si rezultat i veprimeve konkrete hetimore dhe procedurale të kryera mbi këtë kallëzim, Policia e Krujës, më datë 10.05.2023, ka referuar në Prokurori, me shkresën nr. 1466, materialet procedurale prej 186 faqesh, për veprën penale “Shkatërrimi i pronës”, parashikuar nga neni 150 i Kodit Penal. Materialet e para procedurale përfshinin referimin e veprës penale, procesverbalin e këqyrjes së vendit të ngjarjes, procesverbalet e këqyrjes së banesave, procesverbalet e deklarimeve të personave që kanë djeni, vendimin për caktimin e ekspertit dhe për caktimin e ekspertimit teknik, si dhe procesverbalin për këqyrjen dhe marrjen e dokumenteve.

3.Gjithashtu, në vijim të veprimeve policore për këtë rast, Policia e Krujës, më datë 30.05.2023, ka referuar në Prokurori, me shkresën nr. 1466/1, materiale procedurale shtesë të kryera në funksion të dokumentimit të plotë ligjor të këtij rasti.

Theksojmë se Policia e Krujës ka kryer të gjitha veprimet e nevojshme procedurale për këtë rast, me paanshmëri dhe konform ligjit, me qëllim dokumentimin e plotë ligjor të përgjegjësisë penale të shtetasve përgjegjës. Kallëzimi i marrë për këtë rast, si dhe çdo indicie tjetër, janë trajtuar në zbatim të procedurave standarde të punës dhe çdo material procedural i është referuar Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, për kryerjen e hetimeve të thelluara.

Policia e Shtetit siguron qytetarët se është e vendosur për të zbatuar ligjin me korrektësi dhe me paanshmëri, si dhe për të ndëshkuar ligjërisht, cilindo që cenon liritë dhe të drejtat e qytetarëve.

Prokuroria Tiranë hetime për dy procedime penale për “Shkatërrim i Pronës” në Krujë.

Prokuroria pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, duke marë shkas nga interesimi i mediave, në bazë të njoftimit të Drejtorisë së Përgjithshmë të Policisë së Shtetit dhe në vijim të informacioneve të dhëna rreth konfliktit të ndodhur në Borizanë, ju bën me dije se:

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction, on the basis of the material referred by the Krujë Police Station, on 18.05.2023, has registered criminal proceedings no. 3223 of 2023, for the criminal offense "Destruction of property" , provided by article 150 of the Criminal Code. With letter No. 6422, dated 25.05.2023, the file has been delegated to the Krujë Police Station for investigative actions.

Following the material referred to no. 1466 by the Krujë Police Station, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, on 19.06.2023, registered criminal proceedings no. 3872 of 2023, for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property", provided by Article 150 of the Criminal Code.
