After SPAK's request to the Assembly for the arrest of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj and the charges brought against him, the media, mainly government propaganda and most of them paid by the Tirana incinerator company, have started their media attack . Are you saying that the affair of the incinerators ended with the arrest of Arben Ahmetaj?
What is happening? They are simply creating an alibi in the public opinion that the incinerator case has ended, the lid has already been put on them, their leader Arben Ahmetaj is under accusation, he went to prison and the incinerator case is over, but in fact it is not so.
First, it is not the case that the Albanian state, the Albanian government and the Municipality of Tirana pay from their transfer at least 10 million dollars a year to the Tirana landfill, where there is no incinerator. So the money continues to be paid, Arben Ahmetaj on charges, Mirel Mërtiri on charges, Klodian Zoto on charges, Stela Gugallja on charges, all four escaped, only Lefter Koka and Alqi Blako are behind bars.
In fact, they are trying to hide the fact that the issue of incinerators is over, that's all, Arben Ahmetaj was caught and the story ends here.
The story of the incinerators does not end with Arben Ahmetaj, there are still many other names and, beyond that, it does not end that tens of millions of euros are still being paid from the taxes of poor Albanians by the Tirana incinerator company and this money has not yet been returned to the taxpayers Albanians who are the stolen ones in this case.
SPAK and the court claim that corruption and theft have been uncovered, but this stolen money must be returned to Albanians. Millions and millions of euros cannot be paid and the case of incinerators can be called closed, just because Arben Ahmetaj was charged.
No, not even because Mirel Mërtiri, their "brain", is still in charge, who takes refuge in Vienna together with his roommate, Stela Gugallja, and lives with the millions of dollars he profits from the incinerator affair in Tirana, or as far as Zimbabwe.
The affair of the incinerators is not over, it is not closed because there is an accusation against Arben Ahmetaj, not at all. It is open, it is a rope that has been left hanging for many former ministers, other officials of the Albanian state and this affair cannot be closed until the day when the abusive payments will be stopped, where today it is 29 euros per ton, meanwhile that there is no incinerator and in Tirana there is only a landfill, that, according to the official documents made by the Albanian administrators of the seized incinerator companies in Fier and Elbasan, the landfill does not cost more than 12 euros per ton.

So an almost proven steal for the 17 euro per ton difference. While the incinerator in Tirana does not exist, today it has been 6 years since the signing of the concession contract and the start of works in this landfill, where it is claimed that the permit was granted in 2019, while in fact the concession started in 2017, and the works have also started as soon as they received the concession contract, this is evidenced by the purchased goods, invoices, VAT, taxes, and others like these. The affair of the incinerators cannot be closed with Arben Ahmetaj. Those who think that the problem is already closed, that Klodi, Stela, Mireli left and Arbeni went after them, have their scenario wrong.
The issue of the incinerators is closed and the last official should be held accountable before the law and the day when the abusive payments made to the Tirana incinerator stop, because the payments that continue show that corruption, bargaining and affairs continue. With the closure of abusive payments and taking responsibility from the first to the last, then we can have full justice and the justice demanded by Albanians.
