New details from the investigation file of the SPAK concerning the former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj are revealed.

The file mentions several trips of Ahmetaj with businessman Mirel Mërtiri, in Romania and Vienna. 

It is also known that in these trips, along with Ahmetaj, was the socialist Damian Gjiknuri. 

According to SPAK investigators, the reservations in the hotels where the two socialist politicians were accommodated were made by Klodian Zoto. The reservations were made by Klodian Zoto, but in the name of Gjiknuri. 

"From TIMS data, it appears that on April 15, 2014, Arben Ahmetaj left Albania at 14:36 ??with the Austrian line. On April 15, 2014, it turns out that the citizen Mirel Mërtiri left Albania at 15:35 with the same airline and that the citizen Damian Gjiknuri also left on the same date with the same airline at 14:05. Meanwhile, regarding the return, it is established that on April 17, 2014, at 11:18 and 11:19, citizens Mirel Mërtiri and Arben Ahmetaj returned together with the Lufthansa flight. Meanwhile, Damian Gjiknuri returns a day later," says the SPAK file.
