CNA has today provided another document, which shows all the technical details that the former president Ilir Metaj was paid 50 lek by the State Security, with the aim of eavesdropping on his fellow faculty member, Filip Talon.   The whole event was staged to take place in a restaurant in the area of ??the Artificial Lake in Tirana.

A few days ago, CNA published the document where it showed that the citizen Ilir Metaj appeared in a document, which showed that he would cooperate with the former State Security to intercept a friend of his . The secret document, which was declassified a year ago, is dated February 6, 1989 and is a decision to withdraw money from the secret fund for operational interests of the former State Security.

It is claimed that the ex-president should have used the 50 leksh to pay for the dinner at the restaurant, where all the surveillance equipment was ready, through which Ilir Metaj would discover his friend. All the actions on Meta's part came after Filip Talo had decided to escape to Greece and shared this information in confidence with his close friend.

In the following document provided by CNA, the entire interception scheme is detailed, from microphones, cables, installations to audio responses.

Ilir Metaj would take his friend, Filip Talo, to a restaurant to have a dinner, to conduct an interception on him for escaping from the country. This is shown by the payments made available, as well as the tools put to use for this case.

Former president Metaj has not accepted the fact that he was an associate of the former State Security, but has emphasized that there were two Ilir Metajs, although the declassified documents say a senior Albanian politician.

Another author has not yet come forward or the former president himself has never disclosed the truth to the end, creating a shadow of an event that is incriminating for Meta./CNA
