Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has denounced this evening that the arrested protesters were sent to prison convicted of murder in other countries, to act as thugs, to insult and terrorize them.

Berisha has warned the Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla not to touch the protesters because he will suffer badly.

"You should know that in the cells of the indomitable, brave fighters, they sent murderous policemen, convicted of murder in other countries, to harass, insult and terrorize them.

But they have stood like giants, they have stood like true heroes and on Friday the battle continues strong, Friday is victory.

The path we follow is the civilized path, it is the European path, it is the European attitude against great injustices, it is the European attitude against great thefts, it is the attitude of the civilized nation against the criminal mafia.
