The fourth protester who demanded Veliaj's resignation was arrested at

Besart Xhaferri, the head of the FRPD, announced through a post on social networks that at midnight another protester, Alfred Pëllumbi, member of the leadership of branch 2 Tirana, was arrested.

These arrests come after the protest held on Friday in front of the Tirana Municipality, where Veliaj's resignation was demanded, after the "5D" file scandal, where a number of Veliaj's directors were arrested. 

Xhaferri emphasizes that the arrests will not stop the protests "and you must be clear, that we do not retreat, nor do we retreat, since the confrontation is the only alternative we have".

Confrontation without compromise is the only alternative we have! Kevin Vidrica, Bernard Metaliaj and Franc Kaloshi are our three young men who are in jail for Friday's grand protest, while last night Alfred Pëllumbi, the member of the leadership of branch 2 Tirana, was also arrested. Others of us have joined, many others are searching for the sole sin that we can no longer tolerate a caste of thieves stealing our taxes and our future.
Mercenaries, kamikazes and criminals convicted of murder like Ervin Zela in the police who have thrown their hats in the election campaign by order of Edi Rama do not scare us, nor do they scare us, since we are here with a clear mission, for the restoration of legality in institutions and the protection of pluralism.
Arrests will not stop our protests and you should be clear that we do not retreat, nor do we retreat, since confrontation is the only alternative we have.
We will not betray our missionaries and brothers under any circumstances, because in this fight we will be together until the last battle! /CNA
