Changes in diplomacy/ The 12 new ambassadors are proposed

Prime Minister Edi Rama has proposed names for ambassadors in 15 countries, among them Kosovo and Serbia.

For Kosovo, the well-known and much-loved actor, Petrit Malaj, has been proposed by Rama as ambassador.

Malaj will succeed the head of Albania's diplomatic institution in Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, who is leaving his post at a time when the relationship between Edi Rama and Albin Kurti is not in the best possible state.

Likewise, the Albanian Prime Minister expressed his proposal for the ambassador of Albania in Serbia, who is Bardhyl Canaj, a diplomat who previously served in Israel.

Meanwhile, in Russia, Genc Pecani has been requested to be placed at the head of diplomacy.

The 12 names proposed by the government for ambassadors:

Petrit Malaj - Kosovo

Oljan Kanushi - Slovenia

Bardhyl Canaj - Serbia

Genc Pecani - Russia

Qirjako Qirko - Hungary

Artur Kuko - Netherlands

Albana Dautllari - Sweden, Iceland and Norway

Mimosa Halimi - Poland

Sokol Dedja - Denmark

Inid Milo - Bulgaria

Entela Gjika - Spain

Ilir Hysa – Kuwait

Some of these names will be examined tomorrow in the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Policy and then the report will be sent to the Assembly./ CNA.al
