Rules for the functioning of the Project Support Council at the Gambling

The Council of Ministers has approved the decision on the establishment, organization and functioning of the Project Support Council at the Gambling Supervisory Authority. This decision aims to establish clear rules for the financing, selection and monitoring of projects supported by this institution.

According to the decision, the Council will be headed by the Deputy Prime Minister and will consist of several key ministers, including those of finance, sports, culture, innovation and social affairs, as well as heads of relevant institutions. It will focus on setting annual priorities, approving projects and monitoring their implementation.

The document also sets out criteria that applicants must meet, including financial transparency, human capacity and the absence of legal or tax liabilities. Projects will be assessed on the basis of community impact, innovation, sustainability and financial efficiency.

The funding will be divided into two categories: short-term (up to 1 year) and long-term (up to 3 years). The funds will be distributed in three phases, starting with 20% at the beginning, 50% during implementation and 30% after the completion of the project.
