KLSH publishes the report: 13 million ALL damage from the fuel of the employees

The High Control of the State has published the final audit report in the Municipality of Fier.

The report states that the treatment of employees with fuel in violation of the legal provisions caused damage to the Fier Municipality Budget amounting to 13,032,000 ALL, CNA reports.

In total, for the years 2017-2021, 81,450 liters of fuel were withdrawn for 120 employees at an average price of 160 lek according to the exit slips from the warehouse.

The value of ALL 13,032,000 is divided as follows:

-For the period 2017-30.06.2021, 71,530 liters of 160 ALL were withdrawn, the average price according to the receipts from the warehouse = 11,444,800 ALL.

- For the period from 01.07.2021 to 31.12.2021, 9,920 liters 160 ALL were withdrawn, the average price according to the exit slips from the warehouse = 1,587,200 ALL.

By years:

- For the year 2017, 15 contracts were signed and for these contracts the amount of 8,680 liters of fuel was withdrawn;

- For the year 2018, 26 contracts were signed and 15,830 liters of fuel were withdrawn for these contracts;

-For the year 2019, 26 contracts were signed and 17,850 liters of fuel were withdrawn for these contracts;

- For the year 2020, 26 contracts were signed and 18,590 liters of fuel were withdrawn for these contracts

- For the year 2021, 27 contracts were signed and 20,500 liters of fuel were withdrawn for these contracts.

KLSH has recommended that the Mayor of Fier take all appropriate legal measures to collect the value of ALL 13,032,000 from the 120 people who caused this economic damage to the municipality's budget.

For this, all the necessary administrative procedures and other procedures at all levels of judgment should be followed, in order to seek compensation for the damage.

For the above actions and omissions, the following are charged with responsibility: Mr. AS Mayor of FM in the capacity of fuel authorizer for the years 2016-2020, AH, Mr. MG, Mr. KS for the conclusion of contracts as well as all persons who have withdrawn fuel according to the use contracts which are recorded in the annex no. 4. point 8 of the Draft Audit Report./ CNA
