Sunday is a holiday for businesses, a new initiative of Korçë

The Municipality of Korçë has for the first time put on the table the discussion of making every Sunday a holiday for every business.

The questionnaire, which is completed online, has been requested from the businesses of Korça to give their opinion, while sources near the municipality, but also from the interest of Kolibri.al, it is known that over 80% of businesses, mainly grocery stores, clothing sales and services others have agreed with this new initiative.

"I have been working for 23 years, I have not taken a day off. I don't close it because I lose customers, while they were all closing it, sit comfortably and rest" - says one of the sellers near the Macedonian market (shulet) in Korça.

This questionnaire is expected to be completed in October, when a decision will be made in the municipal council of Korça based on the wishes of the businesses themselves.
