"The thief Veliaj should receive the punishment"/ Protests start in front of the Municipality of Tirana

Protests start in front of the Municipality of Tirana, where citizens demand the resignation of the head of the municipality, Erion Veliaj. 

"The thief Veliaj should be punished", is the cry of the protesters in front of the town hall. 

They are determined to enter the premises of the municipality and remove Erion Veliaj. 

The protest in front of this municipality is taking place because of the scandals that happened in this institution that is led by Erion Veliaj, such as the affair of the incinerators and the "5D" file, where a number of directors were arrested after SPAK investigations. 

Even Veliaj himself was questioned by SPAK about the incinerator affair, while the court has issued other security measures, by order of the special prosecutor./CNA
