The Special Court postponed until tomorrow the reassessment of the security measures for the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, and the other 5 people.

On Thursday, the Special Court at the request of the SPAK issued 7 security measures, 3 "prison arrests", 2 "house arrests" and 2 "compulsion to appear" as well as checks on apartments or facilities, after investigations into the abuse of public funds. EU. 

Alfred Nikolla is one of the persons arrested today by order of the SPAK, after investigations into the abuse of EU funds. Together with him, the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, and Ermal Kurtulaj have fallen into the hands of the police. 

Gazmend Haxhia and Elton Marini were placed under house arrest, while the apartments of two other people, Bledar Leka and Bjona Zijaj, were searched. 

The arrest warrants were signed by prosecutor Elida Kaçkini, while the decision to execute them was taken by judge Rudina Palloi.

On Beqaj and the other persons, the criminal offenses of "passive corruption of state officials", "active corruption of public officials", "non-declaration and concealment of assets", "fraud committed in collaboration" and "violation of equality in tenders" are charged./ CNA
