500,000 euros with fictitious invoices / Prosecution, security measures for 19

The Prosecutor's Office of Korça requests security measures for the 19 police officers and commercial representatives, who benefited over 500,000 euros with fictitious invoices within the FRONTEX operation.

The police officers who accompanied the police officers of other countries (FRONTEX) in the framework of securing the green borders, committed falsification of tax invoices for hotel accommodation and meals.

The investigations showed that due to the lack of proper documentation, certain employees with service within the FRONTEX operation were unjustly reimbursed in the amount of 574,320 euros, of which 452,480 euros were for employees of other structures designated by order of the Director of General of the State Police and 121,280 euros for employees of DVKM Korçë.

Through fictitious invoices, also assisted by commercial entities, these employees have benefited even though most of them commanded with service in FRONTEX, are accommodated in rented houses that do not exceed the value of 200 Euros per month for 3-4 people accommodated or had their place of residence in Devoll Municipality.

As above, at the request of the Korça Prosecutor's Office, the Court decided:
