Italian journalist: Agaçi has extraordinary power in the Rama government
Italian journalist, Giorgio Mottola

The Italian journalist, Giorgio Mottola, was invited to the evening edition on "SYRI TV".

The RAI3 journalist revealed how he arrived at the investigation that turned into the headline of the day, and that revealed the role of Angel Agac, as a mediator in the agreement for refugees, as well as his dark connections with the mafia of the neighboring country, Italy.

"Of course, it started with the Albania-Italy protocol that surprised us all in Italy because it put us in front of the fait accompli. Suddenly we discovered that Albania and Italy had signed an agreement that would divert some of the immigrants to your country. And this is an agreement that not only has a value for Italy, but also at the European level because, as the PPE declared during the last congress, this Albanian model, that is, the model of resettling immigrants to third countries, can also be used by countries the other. So we are in front of an epochal turning point.

Of course, when an agreement is made, we try to understand who the parties are. If from the Italian side, the interest was clear, to be presented with the solution of the immigration issue before the European elections, that is, if the interest was understandable from the Italian side, from the beginning it was very complicated to understand what would be the advantage for the government Albanian. So for a beautiful country, but with many problems.

This willingness to host a significant number, of at least 36 thousand immigrants, prompts us to start the investigation to understand what is the interest of the Rama government," he said.

The Italian journalist emphasized that Angel Agaçi has a leading role in this agreement, but also has extraordinary power in Rama's government.

"I would say that Agaç has absolutely a central role in this whole event. I do not say this, says an important exponent of Rama's government, Taulant Balla.

From the moment I came to Albania, I realized that beyond Edi Rama, there was a very central figure, which is Engjëll Agaçi. I started researching it and a whole world opened up.

Because then I discovered that Agac's power and authority within the Rama government has a central role, especially his relations with Italy are rooted," said the journalist./ CNA
