After the sensational arrests of many directors of the mayor Erion Veliaj, which the latter denied by calling them former officials, CNA has learned that SPAK will investigate the assets of these persons. Taulant Tusha, Mariglen Qato, Redjan Molla, Eglantina Zere, Deborah Keçi, Enton Punavija, their assets will be verified.

This is a standard previously declared by the head of this institution, Altin Dumani. The latter, in a meeting with the media, said that SPAK has already established a standard, that of the property investigation. A property investigation that will be conducted for all the directors of Erion Veliaj, who are behind bars, who, in addition to the fact that documents, communications, money, circulation have been found and are accused of corruption, must now justify their assets, must to justify the millions of euros they earned from the position they held.

CNA has also learned that another part of Tirana Municipality officials are still being investigated in connection with the "5D" file.

The "5D" file is a report made by the former deputy and former candidate for the municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, who is currently the coordinator of the capital's branch.

An investigation that was started mainly by SPAK after the denunciation made publicly by Belind Këlliçi in a press conference and then it was the former deputy, which led to the report with his own hand to SPAK in relation to the directors of the Municipality of Tirana, who outside the time of the elections, were also the electoral headquarters of the mayor Erion Veliaj.

The latter, according to the suspicions of the opposition and the accusations made by the Democratic Party, has used its directors through various entities and commercial activities to win tenders, but to use the money earned to buy votes and manipulate the election result. ./CNA
