Several directors of the Municipality of Tirana have been arrested by order of GJKKO, after investigations by the Special Prosecutor's Office for tender abuses. Officials and former officials are accused of "Violation of the equality of participants in tenders and public auctions" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".

GJKKO released 9 security measures, where Mariglen Qaton, former director of Support Services at UKT Tirana and Redi Molla, former director of Tirana Water and Sewerage, were arrested.

Meanwhile, SPAK has issued another arrest warrant for Taulant Tushen. In addition to the Tirana incinerator affair, Tusha is also accused of the famous "5D" file.

SPAK'S INVESTIGATIONS FOR TAULANT TUSHEN

From the investigations of the Special Prosecutor's Office, it has been found that Taulant Tushe, while holding the post as General Director of the Public Works Planning Directorate and member of the Bid Evaluation Commission, collaborated with Enton Punavijan, the current Director of Traffic and Transport in the capital, Julian Zanajn the public procurement officer and Albano Janku.

The latter, as members of the Bid Evaluation Committee, in some procurement procedures, have favored and created unfair advantages and privileges for this commercial entity "5D Konstruksion" sh.pk in relation to other economic operators who have received part in the procurement procedures, declaring it the winner of the procurement procedure in an irregular manner and in violation of the public procurement rules .

SPAK points out that Taulant Tusha knew about the real partners of the company "5D Konstruksion" sh.pk and favored this commercial company knowing which persons were the indirect owners of the company's shares. So Redi has favored Molla and Mariglen Qaton for the benefit of the tenders.
