In fact, they are not former directors because Mariglen Qato was appointed director of "Tirana DC" in September 2023, about 6 months ago, under the Municipality of Tirana.

Qato replaced the arrested Redi Molla, the former director of Tirana Waterworks.

From a simple search in the CKB, he is an administrator and member of the supervisory board of "Tirana DC", the joint stock company of the Municipality of Tirana.

So Mariglen Qato was on duty. The only person who was not in office was Redi Molla, who held the position of director of the Tirana Waterworks.

On the other hand, Taulant Tusha, who is behind bars because of the investigations into the Tirana incinerator, was on duty at the time of his arrest as a director in the municipality.

So, everything that the Veliaj media say are frauds, two of the arrested persons are on duty, while there are also two other directors, who are under investigation, but it is understood that SPAK has voluminous files, they have not been closed yet.

Veliaj knows very well that he cannot announce former directors and former employees of the entire municipality of Tirana and call them former.

In fact, Mariglen Qato was on duty, he was arrested on duty, Taulant Tusha was arrested again on duty. The only former director is Redjan Molla./ CNA
