The Prime Minister, Edi Rama at the Media Forum for Southeast Europe told a story of his during his stay in Paris when he published an article in the prestigious media "The Guardian".

He shared that it was a big moment for him and that he felt like he was meeting the Pope.

Rama confessed that after sending the article that night he could not sleep because he received a message telling him that the article could not be published and as a result the media in question had to discuss some parts of the article with him, verify them.

Based on this, he drew a parallel with the media today, showing how important it is to verify information before it is released.

"At the beginning of the 90s, it would never have occurred to me that I would publish an article for "The Guardian" and for me it was like being told that I would meet the Pope again. I sent the article written to "The Guardian" and when I returned home in the evening, I was living in Paris at the time, I heard a message on my answering machine from "The Guardia" saying that we cannot publish the article tomorrow, that we have to verify some things. I didn't sleep all night because I thought I had done something very wrong. The next day I contacted them and heard that they wanted my permission for the title which was perfect there was no problem, and they wanted to correct 2 things. When I asked them, why didn't you publish the article? They said "Yes." I told you "Why?" the person on the other side of the phone was surprised and said "What are you going to tell me why?", Rama said./ CNA
