Kreshnik Hajdari

On Tuesday, the Central Election Commission will meet to decide on the mandate of the head of the Municipality of Ku?ova, Kreshnik Hajdari. 

A day ago, the Prosecutor's Office sent a letter to the CEC, informing them that the mayor of Ku?ova, Kreshnik Hajdari, has been sentenced in Greece.

The request to the CEC for the verification of the purity of the image of the mayor of Kuçova was submitted to the CEC by the "Together We Win" coalition, and the verifications were carried out by the General Prosecutor's Office.

According to the final decision of the Court of First Instance in Ioannina, it is said that Kreshnik Hajdar was sentenced to 4 months in prison, a sentence which was converted into a 1500 drachma fine, decision taken on June 23, 1999.

Thus, Hajdari did not declare that he was previously convicted in the decriminalization process.

It is expected that the CEC will read the letter and make a decision on the continuation of his mandate./ CNA
