The Tirana Court has set February 21st for the hearing of the lawsuit filed by the Leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, for divorce from Monika Kryemadhi. The hearing will be held at 10:30.
Meta himself announced the news of Kryemadhi's divorce request during a conference at the Freedom Party headquarters a few months ago.
We recall that Meta has been in prison since October 21, 2023, by order of SPAK, for the criminal offenses of corruption, money laundering and failure to declare assets, while MP Kryemadhi is "under obligation to appear" for the same charges./ CNA
